We currently have a position available for a New Venture Development Lead in our New York, NY office.

Your role:

This is a critical role that will need General Management and Business Development skills to build out AppStore and ecosystem of partners for financial services industry. You will help enable a “Fintech Platform” on which multiple startups, system integrators and Banks will build apps/products. Finding and onboarding Fintech startups and Banks on Misys Platform will be essential to the success of this role, while also building a “Marketplace/ AppStore” for Financial apps. Additionally, you will help design and launch incubator/accelerator for startups.

Role Responsibilities:

• Responsible for finding and onboarding startups to the Misys platform
• Responsible for helping Misys customers (Banks) and partners (Deloitte, McKinsey, Accenture etc.) develop applications on top of Misys platform
• Lead building of FusionFoundary: an accelerator/incubator for Misys
• Help develop strategic and annual operating plan of Misys PaaS and own delivery of ecosystem parts of the plan
• Support Global Head of PaaS in commercial aspects of PaaS program

Qualifications:

• Top tier MBA desired, but will consider people with deep Business Development experience in Fintech.
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Experience with financial services and Fintech desired
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, critical thinking and creative problem solving
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization and manage relationships across functions and geographies
