North American (US and Canada) Benefits Specialist will provide benefit support for our employees around health and welfare benefits, 401K/RRSP, time off benefits, disability, FMLA (US Only) and voluntary benefits. S/he will assist in the annual benefits open enrollment process and weekly (or as needed) new hire orientations. The Benefits Specialist will actively participate in acquisition integration by providing analysis and education around to newly acquired employees regarding changing benefits plans. The Benefits Specialist will also create and maintain a Wellness Program that promotes healthy living and proactive management of health goals. The Benefits Specialist will deliver superior service to all plan participants and will efficiently and effectively resolve participant issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, solid project management skills, sound judgment, a strong background in process improvement, and the ability and desire to work in a complex environment supporting multiple companies in a shared services model. He or she will also have superior written and oral communication skills and the ability to work across all levels of the organization. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2-5 years of benefits administration experience, advanced MS Excel skills, and HRIS experience required. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
