Job Decription : The Program Management Office will lead the strategy, build up and operational aspects of a PMO within the Global Delivery Organization. The Program Manager will be accountable for managing diverse portfolio of projects, as well as day to day operational aspects. This organization will be responsible for driving standardization across project lifecycle and providing overall thought leadership and guidance to other departments across the globe. Responsibilities • Development and implementation of consistent project and program management standards, best practices, and methodologies. • Provide the project management framework and governance to support Project teams • Review and recommend best practices for R&D Engineering process • Foster positive relationships with all stakeholders, assist in development of business plans and approval from senior management through Aptean governance process • Ensure overall tracking, and reporting, on a regular basis, of cross-functional, project-oriented work efforts, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards • Convene regular review meetings to track and assess project portfolios with senior management and project sponsors and other stakeholders. • Responsible for applying project management knowledge, best practices, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems • Work with stakeholders across the organization to define key metrics and performance indicators. • Overall tracking, and reporting of bottlenecks, risks and opportunities and provide insights and recommendations on project's progress • Hire, coach, advice, and mentor project managers directly and support their professional growth. • Tracking and monitoring the resource allocation and budget for R&D Organization • Monitor and stay current on technological and operational changes that affect the activities and work processes Required Skills • Relevant experience in bringing the discipline of project management to a product development organization involving diverse cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies • Experience creating an effective team and building strong relationships across organizations, managing resources in a matrix environment, communicating and influencing effectively at all levels. • Proven experience utilizing structured project management methodologies and best practices in the delivery of projects/programs to internal stakeholders. • Excellent communication skills, including strong writing, and presentation skills. • Leadership, mentoring, organizational and communication skills. • Analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions, and measure delivery results. • Point out risk and failures in face of dissenting views. • Implement Quality procedures. • Understanding of software development methods and associated development tools. • Well versed in the use of a PPM tool, able to produce detailed project plans. • Identify and track key program level metrics • Analytical skills as evidenced by the ability to solve problems, identify improvement opportunities, and create effective action plans during the performance of assigned tasks. • Effective team player. • Project Management Certification preferred
