The Finastra Global Services team look after all Product Families from the Finastra portfolio: Capital Markets, Retail Banking, Corporate Banking. The team uses a mix of experience and knowledge in financial services business and Finastra software to provide the best solutions to our customers by delivering quality projects and services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional services leader to join our expanding organization in Europe as the Regional Head of Services – Retail Banking, Southern Europe

As Regional Head of Services – Retail Banking, Southern Europe, you will lead the Retail Banking Professional Services team in the Finastra SEUR region, covering France, Iberia, Italy and North Africa.

You will oversee all aspects of running the Retail Banking Global Services practice for the region; driving the Global Services business from a revenue and margin perspective, holding responsibility for the services pre-sales activities and the delivery of high quality and high performing solutions to meet customers’ business needs.

Reporting into the Regional Services Director, you will work closely with other Regional Heads of Services in the region, Sales Account Managers, Services Sales Representatives, and the Regional Head of Delivery.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Your deliverables as the Regional Head of Services will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Help develop the Finastra Retail Banking software business and associated implementation services
• Develop new Global Services business from the existing Finastra customer base
• Build operational and resourcing plans to drive resourcing and project activity
• Ensure the training and onboarding of top talent for Finastra Professional Services
• Deliver of successful projects in your territory, on time and on budget
• Successful execution of implementation projects with new name customers becoming referenceable on go live
• Manage forecasting of order intake, revenue and margin.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Meet and exceed financial targets (order intake, revenue, margin)
• Professionally represent Finastra in the market
• Ensure that the Practice and Region meets or exceeds its client satisfaction targets
• Drive customer satisfaction and delivery excellence
• Promote and maintain Finastra processes, best practices, and knowledge sharing to ensure that quality and consistency of delivery is outstanding at all time
• Work with Sales, Pre-sales, Services Sales, Architects, on tailored offers for our customers, taking into account customers’ needs, acceptable budgets and feasible delivery models
• Manage teams of consultants and project management resources in the region for Retail Banking solutions
• Oversee project delivery and execution across the practice in the region – together with the regional and global teams.
• Work with resource management to ensure there is sufficient Global Services staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfy the demands of current and future projects – both locally and as a global/regional shared pool.

Required Experience:

• 12 + years of relevant experience in Global Services and/or Retail Banking
• At least 5 years experience in large complex and programe implementations (CBS, Digital Channels preferred)
• P/L management experience with a track record of delivering order intake, revenue and margin targets
• Knowledge of the functionality and business application of the Finastra Retail Banking Products
• Extensive industry knowledge related to financial technology in Retail Banking
• Knowledge of Finastra customers and competitors on the market
• Enterprise Software Vendor experience, or relevant exposure working with such vendors in the industry
• Line management experience leading medium sized teams
• Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus
• Ability to sustain a high level of quality, even when working under pressure
• Ability to make concise recommendations to senior executives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong commercial and operational awareness
• Ability to work efficiently within a multi-matrix and project driven organization, often managing multidisciplinary and multi-cultural/geographically-spread resources
