An Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist position is currently available with Liberty Healthcare. This position is based in our organization’s headquarters located at 5540 Centerview Drive in Raleigh, NC. 

The I Support Specialist will have responsibility for maintaining hardware, providing desktop support and, more generally, the electronic inter-communication system for every aspect of the IA Program. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing assistance to all in-house as well as regional field staff regarding all hardware and system issues.

Specific duties and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Managing the activation and setup of the computer workstations for office staff, the mobile tablet computers for the nurse assessors in the field, and other IT functions in advance of the hiring and training of program personnel
  • Assisting office and field personnel with computer-related problems, maintain computers, and continue to set up computers, computer databases, software and other programs
  • Maintaining virtual server environment and share / personal drives
  • Providing training and support as it pertains to technical equipment and usage to executive staff, regional assessment managers, and other program staff as needed
  • Managing all incoming and outgoing equipment in the IT department
  • Providing needed technology setups in conference rooms for all meetings and trainings
  • Assuring contract compliance by delivering quality services and meeting all contractual, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Anticipating and preventing problems that could result in customer dissatisfaction or failure to deliver contracted services
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Skills/Requirements

 

You are a good fit for Liberty Healthcare’s IT Manager position if you possess the following attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (significant relevant work experience may serve as a substitute)
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in computer hardware and software systems
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - especially orientated towards customer service
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work in fast paced environment
  • Bi-lingual / multi-lingual not required, but definitive plus
