·        Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1.      Develop enhancements and defect corrections, by:

• Understanding customer and technical requirements
• Researching and understanding code that is to be modified
• Writing and reviewing code using Catalyst's programming standards
• Writing and executing unit test procedures
• Writing and reviewing applicable documentation for developed or modified items
• Preparing code for migrations

2.      Participate as part of a team by:

• Mentoring and sharing UNIX/C knowledge with other Catalyst employees
• Collaborating information, ideas and goals with team members
• Assisting and seeking assistance when needed to minimize team risks and schedule changes
• Attending reviews of deliverables to identify improvements
• Fostering a spirit of cooperation to meet business objectives and goals

3.      Maintain a productive work environment by:

• Managing time and priorities to meet committed deadline
• Producing results with a proper balance of quantity, quality, efficiency and cost

• Understanding the company’s best practices for development
• Attending educational workshops or conferences, participating in professional organizations, establishing personal networks, and reading technical publications.

·        Technical Skills

1. UNIX/C
2. Embedded SQL
3. Basic knowledge of Shell ( .sh) and perl ( .pl) scripts
4. Knowledge of Eclipse development and UNIX. 
5. Familiarity with PHP and Apache
6. Knowledge of Operating systems such as UNIX and Windows
7. Knowledge of database systems such as Oracle, SQL server
8. Java and server side code development
9. JSP & Java Script
