Candidate must have hands-on technical, architectural and implementation experience. Experience with MYSQL/ASM/RAC/RMAN/Data guard are also important for this position.

Roles and Responsibilities: - Planning and implementing a highly complex computerized Oracle and MYSQL databases - Architecture and maintenance of large scale deployments of database infrastructure using automation tools - Formulating and monitoring policies, procedures and standards relating to database management - Provide strategic direction, proposing enhancements as a subject matter expert - Providing 24x7 production database support Skills Required: - 3 to 5 years of experience as Oracle Database Administrator along with good hands on Unix/Linux/Solaris/windows platforms - Current experience with MYSQL/Oracle Database 11g and 12c - Strong replication skills, security, back-up and recovery, logical and physical database design, tuning, capacity planning, data retention, installation, migration, conversion etc. - In-depth knowledge of Oracle utilities like SQL loader/expdp/impdp/RMAN/ASM/Clustering - Experience with Unix shell scripting. Perl/Python scripting will be a plus. - Familiar with at least one other database and data solution such as MySQL, SQL Server, DB2, postgres etc. - Architecture and Infrastructure Design - Oracle Database 11g, 12c - database migration from RAC to standalone, ASM to Non-ASM - Hands on DR Build, Support, Troubleshoot - Replication: Oracle GoldenGate, Data Guard, Streams - MAA stack: Exadata, RAC, ASM, RMAN, ACFS, ZFS, NFS, OEM - DB2 and postgres will be a plus
