The Team:

PS-Centre of Excellence(COE) is a part of Misys Professional Services which offers consultancy and experience in working with Financial Institutions and Financial Services and operations. The OPICS PS-COE team is involved in implementation of "Misys FusionBanking OpicsPlus" product suite for leading FInancial Institutions acrros the Globe. The team is involved in various implementation tasks like Installation, Configuration, FED (Funded Extension Development), Data Migration and Report development.

The Product:

Misys FusionBanking Opics plus is Comprehensive solution for front-to-back office, cross-asset processing of a wide range of financial instruments. In a single system, it handles vanilla and complex derivatives, fixed income, and equity and treasury trades.

Job Description:

• Initial 9 months hands on testing experience on FusionCapital – Opics product
• Review Business Requirements and Functional Specifications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness and attend Walkthrough and demos to understand the features.
• Would need to Design and develop test case based on Requirements Document/Design documents/Use Case/Functional Specs.
• Design Test cases traceable to requirements/modification and achieve high level of requirements coverage and Execute test as per the product release plan.
• Report results during test design and execution; Prepare Test data and test execution plan.

Post initial role with the QA team, the successful candidates would be moved to the Professional Services organisation. In this group, the employee would be responsible for:

• Developing  understanding of the Capital Market domain

• Gathering/understanding requirements from Client and how this can be managed in the application.

• Write Business Requirement in the case of development of customizations, based on Client requirements and get it validated with the client.

• Explain the requirements to technical consultants for them to develop/configure the solution to meet these requirements.

• Write Test scope and test cases to validate the configuration/development

• Provide support to Client during their user acceptance testing

Job Requirements and Skills:

• Full-time MBA graduates with a specialization in Finance. Should have grades equal to or better than 70%
• Basic knowledge in Finance (Banking, Treasury& Back office, Fixed Income, Equities Derivatives Private Wealth Management).
• Should have basic knowledge of software life cycle and quality; Experience with enterprise software implementation is a plus.
• Experience in testing banking/trading/treasury/financial market/Asset/Portfolio Management / Wealth Managements applications is a plus
• Financial Markets certification would be added advantage
• Hands on experience with tools like Test director. HP Quality centre (ALM

• Strong Communication skills is a must
