Manufacturing and Supply Chain Project Leader

Job Description:
(1) Contribute to manufacturing development of company products, risk mitigation, and scale-up by managing technical activities, resources, timelines, and lead projects by breaking down complex projects into smaller tasks, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and ensuring the right resources are allocated;
(2) Serve as liaison for outsource engineering firms and sub-contract manufacturing partners by communicating guidelines and providing clarification;
(3) Serve as point of contact among different corporate operations globally to support product launches;
(4) Initiate and chair key meetings for product status updates, design reviews, and milestone reviews;
(5) Prepare and report on project schedule, budget, and costs;
(6) Hold team accountable to meet targets and manage critical issues; and
(7) Coach and mentor internal team members consisting of college interns and entry level engineers.
15% International Travel and less than 5% Domestic Travel
Skills/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or closely related field;
Six Sigma Green Belt certification;
LEAN MFG (Manufacturing) course completion;
Must have at least two years of work experience in a medical device manufacturing engineering environment;
Must also have demonstrated ability in coaching and mentoring team members gained through two years of work experience;
Must have demonstrated ability in MS Project, Minitab, and SAP gained through two years of work experience;
Must have demonstrated ability in using Pro/Engineer or SolidWorks gained through two years of work experience; amd
Must have demonstrated ability in working with business partners in more than one country gained through two years of work experience.
