OPEN POSITION: Software Developer (Progress)
JOB SUMMARY
The Engineer, Development will be responsible for design and development of new features for any existing product or for any new products as well as resolving customer issues. The Engineer, Development will be accountable for anticipating and resolving complex problems that impact design of current or newly developing products. The Engineer, Development will lead the research, design, and implementation of the product software applications. This role will provide mentorship for developing software developers
EDUCATION :
BE/ B.Tech/ MCA/ MSc.(CS)/ M.Tech/
KEY RESPONISBILITIES:
· Development and testing of software applications and solutions that includes writing code, debugging issues and testing of the completed work products which are of high quality, scalable and extensible within the specified timeline
· Builds and assembles prototype assimilations of software applications and solutions as directed
· Contributes to code reviews
· Demonstrate creativity in identifying effective approaches to develop software solutions
· Understand product requirements and improvements necessary for the Product
· Participate in all phases of Agile development methodology
· Participate in interviewing and hiring practices as directed and advised by management team
· Mentor software developer, associate software developer and Interns
· Write and review documentation needed for installation, usage and maintenance of applications and solutions
· Cultivate strong working relationships with co-workers.
· Undertake any other assignments for which the company’s management may request your participation from time to time
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Technical Skills:

Must have expert level programming ability in developing applications using C#, .NET, Progress 4GL

Sound knowledge of Openedge
Other Desired Experience and Skills:
-
Knowledge of ERP or CRM domain

Exposure to cross platform development, scalable and sustainable architectures
