The exclusive Kiawah Island Club has an immediate opening for a Host/ Hostess at the River Course Clubhouse. This new, luxurious clubhouse requires attentive staff with outstanding customer service skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to be proactive and exceed Members and guests expectations.

As representatives of the Kiawah Island Club, Hosts/ Hostesses are the first to greet Members and their guests when they arrive and make them feel welcome. Hostesses are responsible for answering the phone, overseeing the flow of traffic in the dining room, seating guests, filling water glasses, and delivering bread to tables. They are also called upon to assist food and beverage staff in various other duties including setting and clearing tables.

To be considered for this position, you must have a positive, outgoing personality, and a professional image. You must have professional phone etiquette and be able to communicate effectively in English. You must be able to stand for long periods of time. Previous customer service and food and beverage experience is preferred, but not required. Reliable transportation is required.
