Position Overview:
The Applications Analyst position is a great opportunity for an individual that desires to gain experience on numerous application platforms. The selected individual will support multiple business areas by evaluating the business requirements of internal clients and then design the appropriate application, database and reporting solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with end users and technical teams to design and implement business solutions
Lead project activities including detailed plans, time estimates & schedules
Conduct needs analysis, design reviews and detailed design specification development based on requirements
New development, enhancement and defect resolution of assigned systems
Report development, data interfaces, analysis and design, dialog programming
Support and maintenance, program modifications, performance tuning, problem solving, debugging, gathering and writing technical specifications
Maintains procedures, documentation, and change-control for the performance of these duties.
Skills/Requirements
Job Requirements:
BA/BS in Computer Science
0 to 2 years of experience, with either internship or corporate experience
Basic programming knowledge; knowledge of database concepts & web development
Must showcase documentation skillset
Desired Experience:
Experience with application development and enterprise database platform development (SQL Server, SharePoint, .Net, ASP, Access, Ajax tool sets, TFS)
Must have strong analytical, time-management, problem-solving and decision making abilities.
Strong ability to develop functional analysis and design specifications.
