Job Description

Part time

$15, DOE

Under the direction of Associate Director

Assist Associate Director in establishing an overall development plan; identify revenue sources, through local, state, federal grants and Corporate Funding. Develop and execute fund raising activities, write and report on grants, cultivate and maintain donor relationships, and assist with public relations.

Position Functions / Areas of Responsibility
1.  Reviews and updates all current funding sources.
2.  Researches and assists in development of new funding opportunities including: Local and National Philanthropic Foundations, Local, State, Federal and VA Grants and Corporate Giving.
3.  Write and report on grants, cultivate and maintain donor relationships, and assist with public relations.
4.  Maintain and implement grant tracking and cultivation calendar, including funding contacts, grant reports, and deadlines.
5.  Help develop and execute targeted fundraising campaigns and events    
6.  Maintain a strong relationship with local community.
7.  Assist in marketing and public relations.

1.  Direct and continuous contact with guests.
2.  Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management and other departments.
3.  Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.

Education & Experience Requirements
-  High School Diploma or equivalent required.
-  College degree in related field preferred. Additional related work experience may be substituted for education.
-  2-4 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.

Specific Requirements:
-  Must be at least 21 years of age.

Administrative:
Must be competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be able to type 60 wpm

Working Conditions
Work Schedule:
-  Shifts vary, may be early morning or late evening, weekends, holidays, depending on business levels.    

Mental:
-  May experience unusual stress from high business volumes, deadlines, continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.

Physical:
- General office environment with limited physical activity.
-  Work is outdoors and requires constant exposure to cold and other extreme weather conditions.
-  Work is routine in pleasant, comfortable surroundings. General office conditions prevail.
- Other/Additional:  Remote/ work from home position
