The Trade Show Specialist participates in the strategy and focuses on the implementation of tradeshows and customer events. The Trade Show and Events Manager executes all logistics and meeting details and participates in all strategy sessions.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Event management of all programs, meetings and select tradeshows and coordinating with the marketing and sales team
Develop budget and track spend for all events and meetings. Process all paperwork for national and regional tradeshows
Coordinate logistics for all events such as travel, ground transportation, hotel, food and beverage
Attend all meetings and events and execute logistics, reservations, meeting details, and other related activities
Coordinate all AV aspects of meetings and events.
Generate requests for proposals and site visits for all major meetings
Execute and coordinate all logistics related to any sales event or tradeshow
Set up and take down of booth for all national tradeshows. Coordinate booth and material for local shows
Support marketing communications efforts as required
Work with MarCom to generate invitation and follow-up material for events
Coordinate all material for tradeshows and events
Coordinate and update calendar of tradeshows and abstract submission dates
Coordinate and track all customer events and meetings at tradeshows to include breakfast, lunch, dinners, etc.
Maintain schedule of events, reservations, and sessions of interest
Skills/Requirements
Job Qualifications:
BA in Marketing or related degree required
3 - 7 yrs experience in meetings and conventions; including trade shows, and customer lead tracking;
Healthcare industry experience required, cardiology, preferred;
Excellent Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and Word skills
Good presentation skills
Demonstrated critical thinking in fast paced environment
Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively, and frequently (oral and written)
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel, primarily domestic travel, 60% travel.
