$12.50 plus commission

Repair Supervisor    

Purpose
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Rental Operations,
This position is accountable for the successful operation of the Rental and Repair store's inventories at Snowbird.   Currently this includes Cliff Sports Rentals, Snowbird Sports, Creekside Rentals and Mountain Biking operations. Responsible for operating the stores in a manner that meets company targets, creates positive guest experiences and fosters a productive and enjoyable working environment.

Position Functions / Areas of Responsibility
1.    Responsible for ensuring that the Rental/Repair stores deliver excellent customer service. Establishes customer service goals and guidelines. Coaches and monitors employee adherence to service guidelines. Ensures that any guest complaints are dealt with promptly and effectively. Responsible for customer satisfaction ratings as measured by various internal and external customer survey tools.
2.    Works with the Rentals Repair Manager to manage and train employees in a manner that meets company policies and fosters a happy work environment. Keeps line of communication between Rentals Repair Manager and front line employees open. Recognizes and disciplines employees as needed. Informs Manager of any important employee performance issues.
3.    Works with Retail Rentals Repair Manager and Accounting to manage monthly budgets in order to meet company performance and profit expectations.   
4.    Responsible for Rentals/Repairs inventory control. Works with Retail Rental Repair Manager, Accounting and the Commissary to accurately receive inventory, deliver accurate and timely physical inventory counts and minimize theft
5.    Responsible for the maintenance and assembly of winter and summer hard goods inventories.  Including the building of rental bikes and the mounting of rental skis.  Keep tuning, maintenance, and function testing schedules.
6.    Provides a safe environment for employees and guests by establishing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
7.    Manages daily sales transactions in a manner that accurately captures all rentals and repair services and accounts for payments and inventory.  
8.    Travel: Occasional business trips within/outside Utah.

2.    Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management and other departments.
3.    Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.

Education & Experience Requirements
-  High School Diploma or equivalent required.
-  2-4 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.

Specific Requirements:
-  Must be at least 18 years of age.

Skills & Knowledge
Technical:    
Strong bike mechanic skills with the ability to repair and service all aspects of a bicycle in a timely and efficient manner in a retail and rental environment.
Strong ski and snowboard repair skills with the ability to perform technical work such as edge and top sheet repair.  Must have strong knowledge and experience in ski binding mounting and testing.

Must be proficient in reading, writing and arithmetic as well as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of, or ability to learn, Siriusware (sales system and other retail management systems.  Must have experience with accounting skills, including the ability to research inventory discrepancies.
Ability to handle, process, maintain and protect guest personal information, including credit card information, in compliance with all company or department policies and procedures according to PCI rules and requirements. This includes privacy and confidentiality, reporting, storage and disposal of sensitive information.  Will not share or disclose any guest personal or financial information to anyone unless authorized by the guest, manager or company or unless disclosure is permitted within departmental policies and procedures.  


Administrative:    
Knowledge and understanding of PCI DSS, including the safe and secure handling and maintenance of personal, financial and credit card information of guests/customers.
Supervisor will work with a degree of autonomy and must exercise judgment in accordance with company and divisional policies and procedures. Requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work in a stress-related environment.

Working Conditions
Work Schedule:
-  Shifts vary, may be early morning or late evening, weekends, holidays, depending on business levels.
Mental:
-  Must be prepared to stay overnight if necessary on occasional times of road closures.
-  May experience unusual stress from high business volumes, deadlines, continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
Physical:
-  Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
-  Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
-  Must demonstrate ability to bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions.
-  Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult, frequent exposure to noise.
