Liberty Healthcare operates a statewide program in Idaho which assesses children and adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and / or autism. These assessments are used to determine eligibility for various Medicaid-funded health and human services.

Liberty Healthcare seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a “Regional Manager” position - which serves as the program’s nursing subject matter expert and fulfills a key operations management role.

This position is primarily responsible for leading a team of “Independent Assessors,” and ensuring the timeliness and quality of their client assessments. This team is geographically dispersed, works remotely and is comprised of Bachelors-level human service professionals.

The specific responsibilities of the Regional Manager include:

  • Directing day-to-day operations (client assessments and eligibility determinations)
  • Managing Independent Assessors’ workflow and completion of assignments
  • Auditing and reviewing initial assessments and annual reassessments for quality assurance
  • Cultivating and managing relationships with an array of health care providers and stakeholders
  • Assessing people who have intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities and/or autism
  • Serving as an active member of the program’s leadership team

This is a remote position which allows the incumbent to work from her/his home office. Regular travel is required.





Skills/Requirements

Well-qualified candidates will possess the following attributes:

  • Professional licensure in Idaho as a Registered Nurse
  • Prior experience serving people who have intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities and/or autism
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team of professionals
  • Commitment to providing high quality service to clients who have disabilities and those who care for them
