As the data analytics analyst, you will be responsible for importing, cleaning, transforming, validating and modeling data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions for decision making purposes for the Global Engineering Department.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Must be comfortable with presenting data trends and patterns to senior level management
Filter and clean data
Work Closely with engineering management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Skills/Requirements
Job Qualifications:
Position requires a BS Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
Proven working experience as a data analyst with knowledge of database concepts
Technical Expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets(Microsoft office tools, SPSS, SAS, etc)
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Must have exposure to Salesforce or other CRM system
Must have exposure to SAP or other ERP system
Web design experience preferred
Knowledge of Healthcare industry, market trends and regulatory environment preferred
Execute tasks in a timely manner without direct supervision
Must have strong analytical, time-management, problem-solving and decision
