The Field Clinical Educator - Western Region, based out of Denver, CO, will be seen as an extra set of clinical hands to provide support to the assigned Region. Two principal areas of responsibility would be to provide case support and training both of new accounts and existing accounts.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support Cases on as needed basis in the region
• Conduct and deliver new site training for Impella Utilization
• Conduct and deliver In-Service training for existing Impella sites

Job Qualifications:

• BS in Nursing preferred or other clinical certification
• 2-5 years of cath lab experience with a strong clinical background
• Prior experience with Impella
• Hands – On experience providing patient support
• Ability to take independent action/self confident
• Desire to learn more about the commercial side of health care
• Ability to Communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively, and frequently (oral and written)
• Ability to exercise judgment to determine methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Execute tasks in a timely manner without direct supervision.
• Able to prioritize tasks.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of SAP desired.
• Be available on an as needed basis to travel to cover cases (will be extensive travel)
