The National Impella Nurse Educator (NINE) will focus on delivering exemplary training primarily to new field team new hires at our Danvers headquarters. The goal is to ensure that our customers and field team perform at the highest levels of proficiency, in order to assure safe and effective application of the full line of Impella products. He/she will conduct in-house trainings for our newest field team members, working with the National Trainers to continually improve training content and develop new content as needed to maintain consistency in our teachings across a national field team. The National Impella Nurse Educator will work directly with a team of National Trainers to determine customer training needs, develop a suitable training plan, execute the training and conduct any necessary follow up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Train newest members of the Abiomed field team at a variety of scheduled in-house trainings occurring throughout the year.
Contribute to the development and production of training materials and programs used in customer and field team training.
Contribute, review, and identify areas of improvement in the ongoing efforts to make the product instructions and support material a valuable resource tool.
Plan, organize and deliver training to a variety of customers in hospital settings nationwide on the Impella platform of products, as needed
Assist with Call Center duties
