Job Description | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
Provide technical support to manufacturing operations by developing machining and assembly methods which assure the most cost effective manufacturing process and materials.

Skills/Requirements | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
- Batchelor's degree in an Engineering discipline and 3 years minimum practical production machining experience. - Eight years of progressive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering may substitute for the degree requirement. - Must be proficient with current computer software in the areas of inventory, manufacturing, engineering and financial information. - Must be able to work within a professional and office environment. - Must be able to climb stairs occassionally. - Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. - Must be able to operate office equipement, computer, printers, copiers, etc. which includes all physical abilities required for data input. - Must be able to understand and reliably carry out extensive and detailed process instructions. - Must be able to communicate effectively by both written and oral means. - Must be able to comprehend complex systems information to effectively troubleshoot problems and implement improvements. - Must be able to comprehend complex engineering CAD models and drawings.
This position requires minimum travel. Hours are Mon-Fri, 7-5 with a one hour lunch. Overtime and weekends are required.
