Liberty Healthcare Corporation is accepting applications for multiple anticipated openings and newly-created “Enrollment Broker” positions throughout the region. Enrollment Brokers will play a key role in a system which evaluates individuals who have disabilities and determines their eligibility for home and community based services. Home and community-based services are an alternative to institutional-based services for Medicaid beneficiaries who have mental illnesses, intellectual or developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities. These services are funded through Medicaid’s home and community based services (HCBS) waiver program and can include case management, homemaker, home health aide, personal care, respite care, day and residential habilitation, and adult day health services. Liberty Healthcare Corporation endeavors to establish a new regional and statewide HCBS eligibility determination and enrollment system in Pennsylvania. This system will leverage Liberty’s core competencies and unwavering commitment to provide high quality supportive services to people who have disabilities. Skills/Requirements | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Optimally qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a social services field – however significant relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree. Prior social service experience – especially serving people with disabilities is preferred. Candidates must have a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance for work-related travel. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills as well as solid computer skills are required. Applicants must have an attention to detail, be highly organized and work well autonomously. Compassion and an ability to effectively serve people who have disabilities is essential.
