UX Designer - native iOS - iPhone and iPad Mobile Apps

Fab is seeking a UX Mobile Designer to join the growing team responsible for creating and building our iOS app experiences for the iPhone and iPad. Our ideal candidate is resourceful, exhibits a strong passion for building top-notch mobile shopping experiences, and has well-rounded problem-solving and communication skills.

A day in the life…

• Participate in and contribute to the planning process for new features and projects

• Participate and execute large-impact projects under the direction of the UX Design Manager

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create user-focused concepts and interactive solutions for native mobile application interfaces

• Know and understand the Fab customers needs and serve as their advocate

• Develop detailed deliverables that effectively communicate UX designs and product requirements

• Maintain knowledge of user interface processes, tools and best practices to achieve higher quality, lower costs and shorter time to market

• Maintain knowledge of competitive products and experiences

• Effectively communicate concepts with authority and conviction

You own this if you have...

• 3+ years experience in user interface design; Minimum 2 year of mobile app design and 1 year with shopping / eCommerce / mCommerce apps

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

• Demonstrated experience in Adobe Creative Suite and prototyping tools

• Able to provide an online portfolio or samples showing relevant experience

• Strong understanding of graphic design and iOS application design and development

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

• Able to communicate effectively with a high degree of collaboration and influence

• Demonstrated skill creating flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and visual comps

• Experience with usability testing and test planning
