Under the direction of Sr. Retail & F&B Accountant.
Audits all revenue generated from departments using the Micros Retail system.  These departments include General Gritts, Wings, Center Sundries, Cliff Sundries, Marco Polo and Cliff Sports.  Manages various miscellaneous receivable accounts for guests and managers of the resort.

Position Functions / Areas of Responsibility
1.    Uses the WinRetail interface to post activity to the general ledger.
2.    Follows up on billings and collections on miscellaneous accounts and in house accounts.
3.    Works with department cashiers to resolve problems and support stated accounting practices.
4.    Occasionally serve as backup for other revenue auditors.
5.    Travel: Occasional travel to/from resort.
6.    Manages the gift card program.

Interactions
1.    Occasional contact with guests.
2.    Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management, and other departments.
3.    Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.

Education & Experience Requirements
1.     High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2.     College degree in related field preferred.  Additional related work experience may be substituted for education.
3.     2-4 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.


Specific Requirements:
1.     Must be at least 18 years of age.
2      No certifications needed for this position

Skills & Knowledge
Technical:    
Understanding of basic accounting principals including but not limited to debits and credits, accruals and account reconciliation. Ten-key and computer proficiency required.  Requires the operation of basic office equipment;  telephone, FAX machine, etc.   Must be detail oriented and be able to focus for extended periods of time on daily work.  Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Office.  The ability to write reports using Crystal would be helpful.  Must be able to work with others to resolve problems and be able to see problems from others perspective.
Must have the ability to handle, process, maintain and protect guest personal information, including credit card information, in compliance with all company or department policies and procedures according to PCI rules and requirements. This includes privacy and confidentiality, reporting, storage and disposal of sensitive information.  Will not share or disclose any guest personal or financial information to anyone unless authorized by the guest, manager or company or unless disclosure is permitted within departmental policies and procedures.

Administrative:    
This position requires knowledge and understanding of PCI DSS, including the safe and secure handling and maintenance of personal, financial and credit card information of guests/customers.
Requires some exercise of judgment within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval.  Has significant input into decisions made by others.  May select solutions from a number of established courses of action.   Decides how to log account information based on workload and priority.

Working Conditions
Work Schedule:
1.  Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, with some nights and weekends as required by workload and special events.  
Mental:
1.  May experience unusual stress from high business volumes, deadlines, continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
Physical:
1.  Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
2.  General office environment with limited physical activity.
3.  Work is routine in pleasant, comfortable surroundings.  General office conditions prevail.
