Job Description

This is a part time position, Pay is $10.25

Sells lift tickets, takes orders for Snowbird season passes.  Answers customer questions relating to Snowbird and Snowbird activities.  Answers ticket office phone. Balances /reconciles/audits cash drawer and performs other duties as assigned.

Position Functions / Areas of Responsibility
1.    Accuracy in selling multiple types of tickets including: adults, kids, seniors, multi-days, Alta-Snowbird etc.
2.    Provide friendly and efficient customer service, internally and externally while following the specific Ticket Office customer service guidelines.
3.    Answer ticket office phones and follow the specific Ticket office customer service guidelines for answering phones.
4.    Answer customer questions relating to Snowbird and resort activities.
5.    Occasional stocking and cleaning.
6.    Balance cash drawer and perform other duties as assigned.
7.    Audit/reconcile cash drawers as assigned

Interactions
1.    Direct and continuous contact with guests.
2.    Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management and other departments.
3.    Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.

Education & Experience Requirements
-  High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
-  0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.  

Specific Requirements:
-  Must be at least 18 years of age.

Skills & Knowledge
Technical:    
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to handle, process, maintain and protect guest personal information, including credit card information, in compliance with all company or department policies and procedures according to PCI rules and requirements. This includes privacy and confidentiality, reporting, storage and disposal of sensitive information.  Will not share or disclose any guest personal or financial information to anyone unless authorized by the guest, manager or company or unless disclosure is permitted within departmental policies and procedures.

Administrative:    
Knowledge and understanding of PCI DSS, including the safe and secure handling and maintenance of personal, financial and credit card information of guest/customers.
Must have strong organizational skills.

Working Conditions
Work Schedule:
-   Shifts vary, may be early morning or late evening, weekends, holidays, depending on business levels.
-  Must be available any day especially weekends and holiday.7:30 am to 5 pm, with some nights and weekends as required by workload and special events.  
 
Mental:
-  Must be prepared to stay overnight if necessary on occasional times of road closures.
-  May experience unusual stress from continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
Physical:
-  Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
-  General office environment with limited physical activity.
-  Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult, frequent exposure to noise.
-  Other/Additional:  Must be able to perform math with accuracy in counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Work is subject to some interruptions, some cold, heat, noise, and some physical lifting.
