The Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems (CSE) seeks a temporary Contract/Grant coordinator to support proposal and budget preparation. You will support the Grants and Contracts Manager by providing detailed support for compliant proposal preparation, incorporating technical content as provided by the Center for Sustainable Energy Systems’ Principal Investigators (PIs). 

Principal Responsibilities:

• Managing the application process, including creating proposal templates
• Creating cost proposals and budget justifications
• Reviewing final proposal for compliance

Required Education and Experience:

• BS/BA degree is required, Masters is a plus.
• Familiarity with submission sites such as Exchange, FastLane and Grants.gov is very important.
• 3+ years of experience working with proposal preparation and Research Administration preferred.
• Sponsored Programs experience is helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and prior experience with budget preparation is important.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
• Experience with Non-Disclosure Agreements and Intellectual Property Agreements is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with an outstanding team of PIs.
