Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Experienced with circuit design, PCB fabrication, and functional test

Experience with development of thermal management and packaging of electronics for outdoor applications

Experience with mechanical design and drafting software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc)
-
Familiar with industry-standard communications protocols and methods (ModBus, CAN, SCADA)
-
Ability to program data acquisition systems, for example, using LabView
-
Working knowledge of standard laboratory & field test equipment, such as oscilloscope, power quality analyzers, soldering
-
Embedded programming experience is a plus (e.g., Python, C/C++, etc)

Working knowledege of basic machine shop equipment (drill press, table saw, etc)

Experience managing projects in small teams

Effectively collaborates in a team environment

Effective oral and written communicator
