POSITION SUMMARY: The Digital Media Content Specialist will be responsible for designing, constructing, and implementing HTML based content for various digital channels including web pages, email templates and digital ads.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development of Menards email designs and design templates
Testing and maintenance of email templates for online email campaigns
Assist with email set-up and testing • Understand target audience and apply design strategy to layouts
Create digital media including SMS, Digital Inserts, Search Ads and other new media
Understand and support brand and retail strategies
Daily use of Microsoft Office and marketing software to complete tasks
Other tasks as assigned by the Digital Media Team Leader; Print Advertising/Circulation/Digital Media Manager; or Marketing Manager.
Skills/Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors or Associates Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Science or related field is required
Ability to work independently to meet strict deadlines is essential
Strong attention to detail and must be organized
Experience with PC and MAC computers required
Experience with HTML, CSS and other web technologies required
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite. Photoshop, InDesign and Dreamweaver are preferred
Experience using software as a service (SaaS) such as an email service provider or content management system is preferred
Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Excellent team player
Analytical problem solving skills
Marketing experience is a plus
Must have strong work ethic and be able to take direction, be open-minded to change and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
