Together the Cogent companies provide best-in-class water and waste water process solutions and technical services. Our Water Technology Group, located in Denver, CO is currently looking for a confident and highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will sell aftermarket products and solutions to customers within a defined established territory and will require strong technical, communication and decision-making skills. We are passionate about helping customers and the communities where we live and work and pride ourselves on being respected, innovative leaders in our industry. What We Need: · Strong working knowledge of municipal mechanical and rotating equipment · Strong sales knowledge · Engineering degree or related mechanical or technical sales experience · A great attitude and good work ethic · Ability to work alone and within a team environment.

Skills/Requirements | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Your Responsibilities: · Analyze customers’ requirements and engages in consultative selling with clients. · Provide value-added services and products to solve customer problems. · Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries. · Maintain great partner relationship with key manufacturers and vendors to achieve product quotas. · Work with Cogent’s engineering and procurement divisions for specification review, interpretations and quotation preparation. · Work closely with Inside Sales team to determine essential strategic approaches for sales at strategic customers. · Complete, review and communicate required internal sales documentation. · Identifying target prospects and creating strategic action plans to turn prospects into customers.
