Purpose
Under the direction of Accounts Payable Manager.
Performs duties specific to maintaining accounts payable.  Processes vendor invoices, reconciles statements, files back-up materials, and handles calls and follow-up work. 

Position Functions / Areas of Responsibility
1. Responsible for maintaining vendor accounts concerning all food, beverage, and retail merchandise purchased for the resort.    
2. Electronically file all backup material in the appropriate place.
3. Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner to ensure prompt payment to vendors.    
4. Follow-up with purchasing departments and vendors in order to maintain accurate records.    


Interactions
1. Occasional contact with guests.
2. Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management, and other departments.
3. Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.

Education & Experience Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence. 

Specific Requirements:
• Requires task specific training such as computer software training, typing skills, or other specialized training. 
• Requires successful completion of one to three months of job specific training.
• Ten key by touch

Skills & Knowledge
Technical: 
Requires the operation of basic office equipment such as a computer, 10-key, telephone, FAX machine, etc.  Requires advanced arithmetic and/or basic bookkeeping skills.

Administrative: 
Requires some exercise of judgment within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval. Has significant input into decisions made by others.  May select solutions from a number of established courses of action.  Decides how to prioritize workload based on demand or deadlines.


Working Conditions
Work Schedule:
• Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, with some nights and weekends as required by workload and special events.  30-40 hours a week depending on work levels.
Physical:
• Work is routine in pleasant, comfortable surroundings.  General office conditions prevail.
