Friends University seeks a Coordinator of Accreditation Services. The Coordinator's primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support and manage accreditation compliance for overall university accreditation and specialized accreditation activities. In addition, the coordinator will execute research and data initiatives in support of academic affairs activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain a comprehensive collection and cataloging process for all assessment reports, program review documents, evidence data for use in decision-making, institutional and specialized accreditation activities and compliance reporting.
Prepare regular reporting on accreditation outcomes, continuous quality improvement initiatives, academic initiatives and institutional benchmarking as well as participate in the construction and management of academic dashboards with the Vice President.
Monitor accreditation requirements, updates and deadlines, communicate as necessary. Support completion of accreditation updates as necessary
Develop and maintain a university-wide calendar of all accreditation requirements/deadlines to ensure compliance
Develop, manage and execute research activities related to accreditation activities, academic initiatives, assessment, or academic related areas
Provide support and/or training related to academic assessment planning and data gathering as necessary
Supervise support staff.
Work hours are normally between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday occasional evening and/or weekend hours may be needed.
REQUIREMENTS
2 years of experience in higher education setting in accreditation or research capacity
Experience at the director or higher level preferred
Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree in educational research, statistics, psychology or related field preferred.
Experience with Higher Learning Commission and AQIP pathway, ACBSP, COAMFTE, CAEP, and/or NASM accreditation requirements a plus.
Strong background in statistical analysis, research design, data collection, survey administration preferred
Knowledge of academic and administrative planning, evaluation, data collection and assessment best practices and familiarity with continuous quality improvement activities preferred.
