E3 Federal Solutions (E3), a leader in acquisition management, project management, and financial management solutions for the federal government has an opportunity with a federal client in support of their Communication requirements. Since its inception in 2004, E3 has supported numerous federal agencies with their mission requirements by working closely to help define requirements, develop sound acquisition strategies, justify budget requests, and track project execution.

We are looking for a Social Media Communications Specialist with experience working in a communications/public affairs office. Work on this project includes technical support and planning content creation as well as writing, editing and proofing copies for all agency social media sites. The desired candidate will be working within a team to provide technical expertise to facilitate successful implementation of client requirements.

Position Description
  • Development of an enhanced social media program.
  • Provide expertise in writing for social media sites, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry web trends.
  • Develop and document processes procedures to manage content for social media site and external program web sites.
  • Monitor, review, draft, and recommend content for posting on all agency social media sites and channels, such as Facebook, YouTube, Flicker, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Develop and implement ongoing evaluation and monitoring measures, using appropriate metrics to report usage, identify trends and gauge success of specific content or outreach efforts.
  • Moderate content as it is contributed to agency social media sites by external sources.
  • Plan and assist in implementing social media outreach and marketing communications campaigns to drive site traffic and encourage engagement and participation.




Description of Requirements, Skills, & Certifications
  • Bachelor degree in English or communications.
  • 5+ years of experience in communications or public affairs support activities.
  • Social media and web content experience with a Federal Agency required; with the Department of Defense highly desired.
  • Must have strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, experience writing in the AP style is highly desirable
  • Active SECRET clearance.
