Hem, a Fab.com company, is seeking a Country Manager for the U.S. market.

The country manager will lead a team of individuals in our New York office as well as cross-functionally from Hem’s Berlin, Germany European headquarters. The U.S. Country Manager will own the P&L for Hem’s U.S. business.

Functions rolling up to the U.S. Country Manager may include:

•   Logistics — manage U.S. market shipping and fulfillment (via a 3Pl and UPS or FedEx) as well as in-home delivery and installation (white glove services).

•   Transportation — manage inbound freight logistics to our DC’s.

•   Partnerships — manage wholesale relationships and marketing partners.

•   Sales — manage a team of B2C and B2B sales representatives focused on the U.S. market.

•   Local and regional product sourcing and manufacturing.

This is a general management role.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in a general management operating role in a fast pace environment. She/he shall be a doer and a leader. She/he shall be as comfortable and interested in managing supply chain and logistics as she/he is at managing sales and marketing.

Passion for furnishings design is a plus.
