Responsibilities:
Predict and define annual Digital Revenue Forecast goals
Manage Direct Digital Sales opportunities, Ad Network strategy and Programmatic landscape to maximize digital ad revenue
Manage and direct the Media Planning Consultant team
Measure and guide team’s Key Performance Metrics (KPIs), which include but are not limited to: accurate inventory reporting, campaign delivery in full and revenue value carried per drop per media planner
Build and manage the overall media tree within our media planning and ad trafficking interface (Adbook)
Maintain, assess and communicate an accurate inventory for all network properties (leveraging DQT and SQL system reports)
Validate system efficiencies and inventory tracking between DFP and Adbook
Understand, anticipate and influence The Active Network's consumer behavior in order to maximize yield or profits from Active's ever-changing online inventory (leveraging SiteCatalyst and historical inventory trend metrics)
Forecast Active's available and seasonal inventory and leverage unused/unsold inventory to yield a revenue plan
Craft effective Media Plans in line with available inventory forecasting and consumer trends
Develop pricing recommendations for available inventory and packages for sales
Provide reporting and analysis of inventory (sell through), revenue (CPMs, sponsorships, production charges), and costs (custom programs) to drive monetization
Proactively identify and provide actionable monetization solutions for inventory constraints, overlaps, oversupply as well as new opportunities
Assess and make recommendations on profitable deal structures
Provide analysis to drive selling strategy: targeting, content, inventory extension, packaging, pricing, etc.
Identify and manage vendors and tools to optimize yield and to direct inventory actions
Skills/Requirements
Expert knowledge of Exchanges, Ad Networks, Real Time Bidding, Data Management Platforms and other trends in the space
Exceptional Analytical Skills
8 years of operations experience in the interactive world
High attention to detail
Strong leadership and communication skills
A motivated, self learner, constantly improving
Ability to handle large volume (data, campaigns, clients)
Working knowledge of HTML, SQL or other evidence of technical skills a must
Moderate to Advanced skills in Excel or Access
Ability to work cross functionally to ensure all goals are achieved
Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
Project Management or client campaign management experience a plus
Familiarity with ad servers (Atlas, Doubleclick, MediaMind, etc.)
Experience executing online ad campaigns a plus
Experience executing email marketing a plus
