Job Description

Fab is currently looking for a Customer Service Manager as part of the Fab team in Berlin. Fab offers customized furniture solutions in high quality for competitive prices. Customers can either use innovative, web-based configuration tools to design their own storage, dining, and seating solutions, or they can choose to work with our interior design team to make their dream piece of furniture become reality.

The Customer Service Department deals with post-sales processes and is directly involved with customers. It is a very crucial part of the entire supply chain, and is closely linked with the Production Team, the Logistics Team, Quality assurance and the Sales Team. The Customer Service Manager always puts our customers first and is responsible for building, managing a team and for making sure that customer inquiries are handled quickly and professionally according to internal SLAs.

Responsibilities

  • Building and leading a team of highly motivated Customer Service Agents
  • Set pace for an outstanding customer experience by ensuring high service levels across various inbound channels
  • Ensure customer issues are documented and resolved with a sense of urgency
  • Dealing with basic legal matters regarding sale contracts
  • Minimizing liability and losses by operating quickly and reasonably
  • Becoming an expert of Fab products to be able to offer outstanding customer service
  • Investigating customer orders and acting as a liaison between the customer and internal Fab teams on any technical or logistical issues




Skills/Requirements

Profile

You must

  • have 3+ years professional experience in customer service
  • have training or work experience in furniture, interior design, architecture or related fields – not essential if you’re eager to learn fast
  • be experienced in working with legal texts and be able to quickly grasp legal contexts
  • be an experienced team leader
  • have a native level of German and a proficient level of English
  • be diplomatic, self-confident as well as assertive
  • have excellent troubleshooting skills and think solution oriented
  • be comfortable making judgment calls, staying cool in unique and challenging situations
  • have a structured approach to solve customer issues
  • being able to find innovative, individual solutions for customers issues
