Fab is looking to hire an experienced freelance designer and HTML coder to create and implement unique, fresh, on brand marketing and trigger based alert emails. They’ll be responsible for initial design in conjunction with our marketing and creative team. Their primary responsibility will be to turn these designs into highly efficient code.
As we develop our ability to personalize the emails they’ll be taking a leading role in implementing code that allows us to get super relevant to our customers – merging data with creative.
Responsibilities ♥
Hand coding all daily marketing emails and HTML templates, sometimes from scratch.
Work with creative teams to develop pixel perfect, persuasive email design that engages and excites our customers.
Ensure all email code works, including renderings and link functionality and is optimized to ensure high deliverability.
Traffic email campaign requests and campaign assets to meet launch deadlines and notify appropriate parties as necessary.
Develop personalized emails by using data and varying creative elements.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, every time.
Skills/Requirements
Experience ♥
At least 2-3 years experience in HTML email coding for an eCommerce or Retail brand is required.
Ability to hand code HTML and a strong knowledge of HTML email coding best practices.
Experience coding HTML email for responsive design.
Excellent time-management, organization and project management skills.
Graphic design experience and a strong design portfolio.
A background and passion for customer and digital marketing.
Prior experience using email marketing platforms such as MailChimp, Responsys, ExactTarget, Sailthru or eDialog’s Precision Central.
A strong understanding of email marketing and what makes a successful email campaign
Experience with A/B Testing.
Skills ♥
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and CS4 Creative Suite
Good working understanding of jQuery, Javascript and Flash
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Amazing attention to detail and a pride in delivering consistently pixel perfect work. Good isn’t good enough for you.
Great email design and execution knowledge and ability to get other passionate about this
