Job Description

Fab is seeking an Email & Loyalty Marketing Manager.  This person will be a key member of the Ecommerce & Marketing team, owning Fab’s email channel to engage with consumers, drive revenue, and build loyalty and brand equity.

We are looking for a roll-up-your-sleeves operator, who obsesses over email and thrives in detail, organization, and analysis.  The successful candidate always strives for continuous improvement and should have direct, hands-on experience developing and running email and loyalty campaigns in the retail/ecommerce space. We need candidates to be both left & right brain thinkers. We need someone who can both execute and strategize; both do and think. 

This person will report to the VP of Ecommerce & Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own Fab’s email strategy partnering with the merchandising and inventory planning teams within the Retail function and work cross functionally to produce and communicate a cohesive plan throughout the organization
  • Build the business and drive revenue through a targeted, personalized, and compelling approach to email and other forms of loyalty marketing to continually engage with existing and new customers
  • Actively manage email acquisition campaigns and the database of customers on file
  • Leverage customer segmentation to deliver a more relevant and effective experience
  • Analyze data and develop a testing/learning agenda to continuously optimize the channel end-to-end
  • Own the transactional and trigger-based emails to manage the customer lifecycle from initial registration through to purchase and repeat purchase
  • Work proactively with the Retail & Marketing teams to identify strong product & promotional stories that have rational and emotional resonance to customers
  • Effectively write and kick off creative briefs working side-by-side with designers and copywriters to bring to life the email strategy and promotional plans
  • Oversee hind-sighting and competitive benchmarking to understand email effectiveness and inform future strategies
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of industry best practices, trends, consumers insights and shopping habits




Skills/Requirements

 

  • Background in retail industry, ecommerce/digital preferred
  • 3-5 years of email marketing experience
  • Strong analytic skills required
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Resourceful self-starter that can successfully work through ambiguity & a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment
  • Has exceptional organizational skills and an extraordinary attention to detail
  • Ability to project manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Email Marketing tools, etc.
