RCO specializes in the representation of financial institutions, investors, title insurers, housing authorities and select businesses in all matters related to servicing, mortgage banking, consumer finance, title insurance, real estate finance, and the enforcement of mortgage loans.
The Foreclosure Specialists (Motions Team) is responsible for coordinating and scheduling hearing and maintaining the team calendar for the Florida Foreclosure Dept.
Candidate will support attorney and team in legal process of Foreclosure properties located in the state of Florida.
Qualified candidate must have extensive experience managing production of documents, identifying privileged documents and excellent time management skills.
He or she will be responsible for moving files, preparing legal documents such as Complaints, Motions, Notice of Hearings, Affidavits, Defaults, Notice of Actions, etc.
The position requires a team player who has a keen attention to detail and is accustomed to meeting multiple deadlines.
The ideal person must show excellent oral and written communication skills.
Will perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Prepare and draft correspondences to borrowers, Clerks, Judges, AOD’s, clients, etc.
Prepare and draft legal documents such as Assignment of Mortgage, Lost Note Affidavit, Motion for Summary Judgment, Motion to Substitute Party Plaintiff, Affidavit of Amounts Due and Owing, etc.
Calculate judgment figures required for Affidavit of Indebtness or Affidavit of Amounts Due and Owing.
E-file pleadings and documents to the specific counties.
E-serve the Service of Document to defendant’s counsel
Update clients via client systems (LPS, Vendorscape, Lenstar, Clarifire, MSP/CPI) with status of file in a timely manner.
Perform PACER searches, SCRA searches, and reviews county dockets.
Managed high volume caseload while meeting various deadlines.
Ensure that all documents required by courts are completed in an accurate and timely manner
Support attorneys in legal process of Florida properties.
A paralegal certificate is required
Bachelor's Degree from a four year college or University is required
Minimum 2-4 years office related experience, preferably in a related field (legal, bankruptcy, mortgage, banking, etc.)
File processing experience
Experience working with attorneys preferred
Ability to work in a fast paced and high volume environment
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to maintain records and prepare reports
Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively determine appropriate courses of action
Must be flexible and have well developed interpersonal skills
Must be highly organized and self motivated
Excellent customer service skills
High proficiency with computers and technology. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn new programs quickly.
