Job Description

RCO Legal, P.S. is a dynamic, evolving law firm that continues to grow and expand. As a result of increased demand and new clients, we are looking for more Foreclosure Specialists on our Hearings Team for our Atlanta office. RCO values customer service and integrity. RCO specializes in the representation of financial institutions, investors, title insurers, housing authorities and select businesses in all matters related to servicing, mortgage banking, consumer finance, title insurance, real estate finance, and the enforcement of mortgage loans.

The Foreclosure Specialists (Hearings Team)  is responsible for coordinating and scheduling hearing and maintaining the team calendar for the Florida Foreclosure Dept.

Duties: 

  • Schedule Hearings, ensure hearing packages are prepared and sent to attending cousel, and monitor hearing calendar
  • Heavy data entry and general computer work
  • Prepare and maintain team calendar, assign and set hearing dates for pending cases; coordinate schedules and locations with respective judges, defense attorney, and local counsel
  • Update the master calendar with new court hearings/trial/mediations
  • provide information by phone or in person to team members, firm attorney
  • Prepare and process legal pleadings and correspondence
  • Review hearing queue and reports
  • Review and process incomimg mail pertaining to scheduling
  • Other Duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year office related experience, preferably in a related field (legal, bankruptcy, mortgage, banking, etc.)
  • File processing experience
  • Experience working with attorneys preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high volume environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively determine appropriate courses of action
  • Must be flexible and have well developed interpersonal skills
  • Must be highly organized and self motivated
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High proficiency with computers and technology. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn new programs quickly.
