Job Description

The Deposit Services Department provides assistance to customers and branch personnel via telephone and email.  DS manages several back office processes for NASB, including; checks and ACH, Overdraft Privilege, debit card orders, debit card chargebacks and fraud, CIP, Internet Banking, bill payment and eStatement maintenance, on-line account opening management, monthly customer statements, and deposit account collections. 

  • Assist customers over the phone; resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively
  • Assist branch personnel with deposit account related issues 
  • Compose email responses to customers concerning various issues 
  • Perform data and monetary maintenance on customer accounts 
  • Resolve customer issues with Internet Banking, bill payment and e-statements 
  • Cross train and back up other processes and tasks within the department as assigned 
  • Additional duties may be assigned as tasks and processes are added to the department 

 HOURS:  Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 7:00 pm, and Saturdays, 8:30 - 12:00

Skills/Requirements
  • 2+ years of college preferred
  • Experience with deposit accounts required  
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills 
  • Professional appearance and attitude  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Access 
  • Must be detail oriented, flexible, self-motivated 
  • Must be able to work well with others and perform multiple tasks at one time
