Job Description

The QA Lead role is a dynamic and fast-paced position that interacts daily with operations, development, product, and QA resources. In this role you will be expected to help drive the day-to-day QA operations, provide guidance and leadership to the team members; work closely with QA Managers to meet deadlines, and work to ensure adherence to defined processes and standards.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the planning and execution of team verification efforts
  • Demonstrate outstanding analytical skills , including root cause analysis capabilities
  • Work with operational Beta Coordinator to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Establish regression plan coverage for defined projects and/or releases
  • Responsible for creation of internal release notifications for all efforts
  • Act as QA point of contact for QA Analysts; providing both technical and domain level guidance
  • Work closely with QA Mgmt to define processes and guidelines necessary to achieve quality application deliveries
  • Evaluate and Implement testing tools, as needed
  • Act as a champion within the team for communication and transparency of verification efforts
  • Act as a mentor and coach within the team
Skills/Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years QA Lead experience
  • 3+ years’ experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
  • Demonstrated experience with web and/or e-commerce technologies
  • Experience working with offshore team(s)
  • Proven ability to demonstrate leadership, prioritization, and analytical skills
  • Excellent understanding of QA processes and test methods
     

ADDITIONAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with TFS (Team Foundation Server)
  • Experience with TestComplete and/or SilkPerformer automation tools

 

 

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires BS or AAS Computer Science degree (or equivalent years of experience)
  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems a plus
