The area: Human Resources

Working behind the scenes, the Human Resources & Administration team makes a significant impact on nfrastructure employees, partners and customers. The Human Resources & Administration department is devoted to effectively serving the company’s organizational needs as well as the needs of company employees. Functions of the department include: Recruitment and Selection, Policy Formation, Employee Compensation and Benefits and Employee Relations.

 The role: Human Resources Intern

As the Human Resources Intern, you will support the HR team with a wide range of projects. You will take the skills you may have learned in an academic setting and apply them in a fast paced professional setting.  You will use your exceptional organization and communication skills to assist in onboarding, HR compliance, and other areas of interest as they arise. Your responsibilities will require confidentiality and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various HR administrative duties as needed
  • Assist in pre-hire paperwork and onboarding new employees
  • Handle confidential information and communication between appropriate departments
  • Assist with updating various  reports to keep employee information accurate and readily available
  • Maintain SharePoint through adding and removing employee information, updating policies and holiday schedules
  • Assist with HR Compliance standards and regulations through maintaining proper documentation
  • Participate in the planning and execution of Corporate Events and Communications 

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management
  • Proven mastery of Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • Flexibility and willingness to accommodate last minute requests in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a positive outlook and willingness to overcome obstacles to accomplish tasks.
  • Possess the drive and initiative to take on new and different projects and tasks as they come up.
