Athens Technical College in Athens, Georgia seeks an adjunct (part-time) Instructor to teach courses in the Machine Tool Technology program for the Athens Campus in Athens, Georgia. The successful applicant will be expected to implement course materials that support stated initiatives as outlined by the Technical College System of Georgia and use appropriate techniques to provide students with the knowledge needed to achieve the learning outcomes for each Machine Tool Technology course offered. The instructor reports to the Machine Tool Technology Program Chair. The instructor is responsible for teaching, advising, and evaluation/improvement of educational results. This position requires using appropriate teaching, testing, and grading techniques; maintaining educational records; developing course syllabi, goals, and objectives; evaluating students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives; and integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student success.
