Job Summary:

DentalPlans.com is looking for an experienced Marketing Analytics Manager to manage and execute performance measurements and monitoring for the marketing department. Experience with Marketing Analytics, modeling, database reporting (SQL and Excel) and web analytics (Google Analytics) are required. Scope of ResponsibilitiesFundamentals of the job and required of all incumbents

 

  • Help establish the marketing analytics function and channel measurement structure to monitor marketing channel performance for the company
  • Execute database marketing and reporting setup for department performance monitoring and analysis
  • Utilize Google Analytics and other Web reporting tools to shape Web Marketing strategies and maximize ROI
  • Provide regular written reports for custom-defined performance metrics for each customer account
  • Provide analytics consultation to cross functional team members
  • Build systems and processes to initiate, collect, combine, analyze and translate information (sales, customer data, web traffic, academic, testing, brand measures, competitive, etc.) into brief but comprehensive insights to help senior leaders understand the state of the business, identify opportunities for growth and inform future decisions
  • Develop key metrics for marketing programs and supporting the marketing planning process through analysis of data. Help generate insights in order to promote continuous learning and innovation cycles.
  • Provide support to company’s initiatives for gaining market share by identifying big trends and recommending opportunities
  • Ensures timely execution of all research projects within defined budgets and prepares detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management
  • Conducts project status meetings and facilitates the coordination of cross-functional groups
  • Create and support strategic initiatives through research data analysis and presentation
  • Collect, analyze and manage brand insights (whether purchased, acquired from strategic partners or derived from studies in and outside our company.)
  • Initiate brand studies: awareness tracking, opportunity study, advertising copy testing, media analytics, etc.
  • Monitor, track, and measure effectiveness of communications activities and create program for continuous improvement of content effectiveness and communication strategy use
Skills/Requirements

Job Qualifications:            Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years of analytics and data reporting
  • 2+ years of web marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, math or finance preferred
  • Masters in marketing or finance a plus Demonstrated experience and knowledge of marketing channel reporting including online and offline marketing channels
  • Firm understanding of web marketing and shopping engine marketing strategies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PP, Word), web programming languages HTML, JavaScript and Google Analytics
  • Proficient with SQL Database reporting and advanced Excel modeling features
  • Skilled at logically translating, disseminating and presenting marketing data
  • Analytical and driven to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights
  • Extensive experience in market research technologies, models and analyses
  • Experience managing vendors and leading the development of a major analytics and market research
