Athens Technical College in Athens, Georgia seeks an Adjunct Instructor for its Culinary Arts program.  The successful applicant will be expected to implement course materials that support stated initiatives and use appropriate techniques to provide students with the knowledge needed to achieve the learning outcomes for each culinary class offered.

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of an associate’s degree in Culinary Arts.  A bachelor’s degree or higher is strongly preferred.  Desired qualifications include:

American Culinary Federation (ACF) certification: and/or Certified Executive Chef (CEC); and/or Certified Culinary Educator (CCE). 

Requires minimum 10 years of actual work experience in the culinary field with at least 5 years management experience.  A commitment to represent excellence and professionalism in the classroom and community is essential.
