Job Description

Northwest Trustee Services, Inc., a full service trustee company providing default services to mortgage lenders in the Northwest, is currently recruiting for a Customer Service/Data Entry Clerk for our Lake Oswego office.

NWTS is the leading provider of foreclosure services in the Pacific Northwest.

The Customer Service/Data Entry Clerk identifies file status and updates various client systems. This position requires a large amount of data entry and requires a high attention to detail.


 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors client systems for update requests.
  • Maintains file status in both client and internal file tracking systems. 
  • Provides excellent internal customer service at all times.
  • Works in a team environment to ensure equal allocation of workload.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Requirements

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least one year related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.  Experience with Access is a plus. 

Other Requirements:

  • A minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute is required
  • 10-Key with accuracy is required
  • Work effectively under time pressure while striving for excellence
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team
  • Plan, organize, and schedule workload efficiently;  manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills and take on new areas of responsibility
  • Display a high level of self-motivation
  • Excellent customer service skills
