Job Description

-Direct and supervise food service workers in all areas

- Establish and adhere to standards for food preparation; service; portion sizes and sanitary conditions.

- Make daily rounds to assure dietary workers are performing required duties; inspects kitchen and dining areas, tableware and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met.

- Develop, administer and monitor  an accurate system for managing labor, food and supplies.

- Assist with catering

- monitor time and attendance and schedule employees as needed.

- Interview, select or hire new employees

- Provide regular training for all foodservice employees

-Attends appropriate meetings and in-services

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting agency requirements.





Skills/Requirements

- Graduate from an approved 90 hour food service supervisory course

- One year experience in a healthcare setting

- Serve Safe Certified

- Ability to move intermittently throughout the work day
