Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple large projects concurrently in the design and construction of liquid pipeline and related facility projects.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Project Management and leading a design team for liquid pipeline, pump stations, tank farms, meter stations and related facilities
  • Provide leadership, motivation, and project direction as needed to achieve project schedules, cost objectives and quality control over material installations
  • Maintain focus on cost and schedule adherence, resource management and control, management of change, reporting requirements of both current status and future projections
  • An adherence to Company established Project Management processes and procedures with the continuous improvement mindset in the areas of cost tracking, design standards, installation techniques, contracting strategies and material logistics
  • Organize and lead Project Review Status meetings on a reoccurring basis to maintain customer and management lines of communication are open and available for input and support as needed
  • Providing cost estimating for liquid pipeline facilities and related assets




Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited university or equivalent technical degree
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the liquid pipeline industry. At least 7 years of the work experience should be at a pipeline operating company or at an engineering consulting firm
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in managing engineering projects in the pipeline industry as a senior project engineer or equivalent
  • Collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and staff members
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong industry contacts and knowledge of the industry
  • Unquestioned business and personal integrity
