This is an exciting Business Analyst position with an opportunity to work on new gTLD Onboarding within our Domains Service Delivery Unit. We are looking for a talented individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role will assist in the identification and facilitation of projects from inception through successful deployment.
What does the job entail?
  • Manage multiple complex projects producing required deliverables on time.
  • Work with Product Managers, Account Managers and other stakeholders to identify project scope and elicit requirements.   
  • Analyze information including oral and written feedback from external partners and internal technical teams and problem solve to determine the needs of the system or conditions to meet changes.
  • Convert information into appropriate requirements models and TLDML Manager tools to ensure intent and value is communicated consistently. 
  • Facilitate Dev and QA backlog grooming session to review the requirements, clarify project scope and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Assist in prioritization of features and attend Sprint Planning meetings to clarify questions and drive resolving issues.
  • Act as a point of contact to facilitate the communication between departments, project teams, and external parties in regards to project status and impacts of change resulting from associated project.
  • Generate and contribute to project plans to ensure deliverables are being met.
  • Manage roadblocks, risks, issues and negotiate changes in project priorities and/or scope.
  • Drive projects through the lifecycle to completion exercising creative ways to get issues resolved.
  • Participate in retrospective meetings and document suggestions for improvement.
Do you have what it takes?
  • Four year college degree required, Information Technology or Business focus preferred.
  • 4 or more years of business analysis experience.
  • Experience in Scrum, Kanban or some other form of agile software development is a plus.
  • Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner, CCBA, and/or CBAP are a plus.
  • Experience w/ writing functional requirements, use cases, user stories and technical requirements.
  • Experience with Jira is a plus.
  • Experience with XML is a plus.
  • Experience in managing projects and driving them to completion.
  • Experience in collaborating with external teams and departments to identify and isolate project scope.
  • Some form of technical experience (e.g. Programmer, BA, DBA, QA, etc) is a must as this role explicitly translates business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, time/product management, teamwork, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening and interpersonal communication ability.
  • Strong analytical thinker and problem solver; detail oriented
  • Ability to work well in high-pressure situations.
