Job Description


Training staff as they are hired into Mortgage



Will train new and experienced mortgage operations and support personnel, develop training curriculum, and analyze performance and assess skill level of new and experienced employees. 


Partner with assigned TruHome Solutions mortgage sales and operations managers and departments to develop and deliver training.  In response to external and internal audits, help identify areas of improvement needed and create new or revise existing training materials to be delivered.


Lead the direction and development of the TruHome training platform. 



  1. Assist management with the development and implementation of the sales, service, product and systems training program for TruHome Solutions mortgage sales and operations group.
  2. Partner with subject-matter experts to continually update and improve course materials.
  3. Analyze external and internal audit findings to identify new areas of training needed and then assist in developing responsive curriculum.
  4. Facilitate customized and core courses, both inside and outside of operations.
  5. Develop and implement training and performance assessments based on learning objectives and new hire performance expectations.
  6. Document and share best practices and lessons learned with other Sales and Operations Management team members.
  7. Provide sales, operations and service training programs that result in increased productivity levels.
  8. Manage and design sales and operations training development plans of all new and existing sales employees based on their position within the organization.
  9. Promote honest and open communication throughout the TruHome Solutions.
  10. Work closely with a training committee comprised of people from various functions and areas of the Company.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.


  1. Ability to conduct root cause analysis and diagnose performance issues.
  2. Ability to project a high degree of professionalism and positive image of themselves and the TruHome Solutions.
  3. Strong knowledge of adult learning theories.
  4. Ability to train and facilitate meetings.
  5. Professional presentation and communication experience and skill in front of large groups.
  6. Strong ability to design and implement training courses.
  7. Strong ability to communicate effectively using correct grammar, both in writing and orally.
  8. Excellent ability to work with diverse groups in a team atmosphere.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  10. Must be detail-oriented with ability to maintain and organize workloads.
  11. Ability to resolve problems, interpersonal conflict and miscommunications.
  12. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  13. Knowledge of mortgage products, services and system.
  14. Must be able to be bonded.



In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time.  Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach, or stand for extended periods of time.  Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.



This position is expected to work in general office environment and may have to travel for visits to other credit union facilities for performance analysis and training purposes.



This position requires at least an Associate’s degree with an emphasis in the education/training field or equivalent experience and a minimum of three years experience in a financial institution will substitute for a degree. Mortgage operations (origination, processing, underwriting, or servicing) experience preferred.
