Job Description

The role of the Financial Analyst is to provide business and financial summaries and analysis to the Executive Team and others; develop a consistent and universal reporting structure across all functional areas; ensure the fiscal integrity of all operations. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the integration of information into a central reporting system.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial summaries and reports.
  • Research, understand and explain variances to budget/forecast.
  • Work with Operations, Marketing, and other functional areas to identify opportunities and strategies for improvement.  Assist in building models to quantify and predict the effects of implementing different strategies
  • Evaluate, assess and compare the relative quality of various business opportunities by clinic, by region and company-wide.
  • Develop, create and distribute reports for various departments as needed utilizing spreadsheets, charts and graphs to illustrate and present technical data.
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and monthly forecasting.
  • Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the fields of healthcare, business and finance.  Analyze financial information and other data to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions and provide judgments, assessments and guidance regarding trends and business anomalies.

 

Corporate Compliance:

  • Act in compliance with legal rules and regulations applicable to the position.
  • Adhere to both the spirit and the language of the Sarbanes–Oxley Act of 2002 (“SOX”) in order to avoid any conduct that would be in violation of SOX or give the appearance of violating SOX.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 





Skills/Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA with CPA preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Healthcare experience is a strong plus with a proven ability to provide constructive assessment of all financial results.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects/priorities and resolve timing or due date conflicts.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, handle multiple projects and work under strict deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
